Almond Bite is Indiana’s first dairy-free cream liqueur. It’s made locally right here in Indianapolis, Indiana by Crossroads Distillery. While other distilleries have focused on more traditional markets, Crossroads decided to set itself apart by exclusively providing vegan and dairy-free certified products. Made with all-natural ingredients and a warm vanilla taste, Almond Bite is equally suited for drinking straight or mixing into cocktails. After a successful test launch, Crossroads Distillery released its refined version in 2019 to wide acclaim.
As one of the founding members of the ownership team, I was responsible for creating the product design, packaging, logo, product photography, website, and sales support materials.
HOW IT WENT
By the beginning of 2020, we had reached wide distribution across most of Indiana with many high-end restaurants and bars featuring Almond Bite in a special cocktail or pastry. In one particularly fun opportunity, Almond Bite was a part of a feature article in Edible Indy Magazine—all about the vegan food scene in Indianapolis, Indiana.
